Open position in Quality Control
As ICP-MS Specialist in Bayer AS your main task will be quality control of Bayer’s alpha-emitting pharmaceuticals and key radioactive starting materials. Through establishing a new lab in our location at Lysaker, your responsibilities will include development of analytical methods, method validation, procurement and qualification of instruments, release testing, characterization, project management and scientific support. Communication with new and existing suppliers and collaborating partners, both nationally and internationally, also plays a big part in this role.
You will be a part of our dynamic and professional Quality Control team.
We are looking for a candidate with a PhD/MSc degree in Chemistry, with minimum 2-5 years experience from ICP-MS instrumentation and preferably other analytical techniques. Candidates with experience from work with radioactivity will be preferred. Since Bayer AS is a pharmaceutical company, knowledge and experience with quality control and GMP is advantageously. Good communication and collaboration skills are expected, and you have good experience in writing scientific reports. Further we will emphasize skills like scientific expertise, initiative, and ability to handle complex projects. Excellent skills in English, both written and oral are required, and preferably skills in a Scandinavian language.
