Working closely with our clients, we guide them through their digital transformation. As a Data Engineer at Cognite, you will be responsible for integrating the customer data into the Cognite Data Platform, helping our customers to digitalize their daily operations through building data-driven solutions. You will be expected to work extensively with our customers at their offices and help them with all parts of creating valuable end-to-end solutions. This will include working with everything from ingesting data into the platform, automating workflows through scripting, applying and developing our Cognite data processing tools, and building awesome visualization solutions. It’s a challenge, but you’ll have a great team to help you excel in your role!

Responsibilities
- Work closely with our customers to drive their digital transformation
- Drive and manage integrations, data modeling, and analysis using Cognite data connectors, SQL, Python/Java and Rest APIs
- Collaborate with our R&D and Product Management teams to turn customer needs into a prioritized pipeline of product offerings
Requirements

- Have some experience working with data standards and technologies, for example:
- Loading and transforming data (e.g. using ETL tools)
- Using SQL
- Programming experience (e.g., Java or Python)
- Have strong academic results (Or a good reason why not!)
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Have the motivation to work in an energetic company
- Are naturally curious and always ready to learn
- Have a good story about a time you created, small or large, digital impact
