SAS Control and Metering Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a SAS Control and Metering Engineer to our office in Stavanger, Norway. As a SAS Control and Metering Engineer you will provide specialist expertise within the area of Safety Automation System (SAS) Control and Fiscal metering system, acting with the role as Vår Energi discipline and/or system technical responsible. Duration: permanentApplication deadline: 24.04.2019 Tasks and responsibilities

• Responsibility to ensure the facilities integrity of SAS Control metering systems. 
• Responsible for Vår Energi requirements and follow work processes related to facilities integrity of SAS Control metering  systems. 
• Evaluate non conformance and deviations requests and give recommendations with respect to authority and company requirements. 
• Establish best practice within area, regularity and availability. 
• Fill assigned roles within technical authority/System owner and/or Facility Integrity Management System 
• Contribute to a continuously improvement of governing documents. 
• Ensure facilities profession are in compliance within SAS Control metering discipline.     

Education and experience:

• Bachelor or Master degree within automation engineering
• 0-4 years of experience

• Have in depth knowledge of Norwegian regulations and standards within the area.
• Norwegian and English language skills
• Strong team player with proactive approach to the decision making process 
• Problem solver 
• Good communication and cooperation skills
