We seek a skilled Control Systems Engineer with knowledge of PLC design.

We seek a skilled and experienced Control Systems Engineer with knowledge of PLC software design. This person will participate in a team of competent engineers with responsibilities for product development and delivery, in addition to supporting rigs in operation.


Responsibilities and tasks 

• Design Control System software
• Design and deliver documentation packages for the products
• Participate in Internal Acceptance Test/Factory Acceptance Test locally and abroad
• Support installation and commissioning teams
• Support our global offices with product expertise towards rigs in operation

Qualifications & personal attributes 

• Relevant education at a Master's or Bachelor's level
• Preferably, 1-3 years' experience with equivalent work. Newly educated will also be evaluated
• Knowledge within fields and tools such as Simatic Step7 (classic and TIA) and GE Cimplicity SCADA will be an advantage
• Curious about new technology with the ability to acquire new knowledge quickly
• Creative, engaged, solution-oriented and focused on delivering quality results
• Flexible and motivated by working towards continuous improvement
• Excellent communication skills in English and Norwegian, both written and verbal
