Will you share our vision as our new "Project Engineer"?

As a Project Engineer in Subsea Controls Product Engineering, you will be part of the team that provides world-class control products in terms of functionality, performance and reliability to the customer.

You will utilize your expertise, develop and configure products for the control system, and work with a lean and agile team of the best engineers in the industry.

The position will involve collaboration with other departments and disciplines, such as our internal product departments, manufacturing department and the project organization.

As our new team member, you will configure needed subsea instruments and optical/electrical distribution for project globally based on international standards, drawings, schematics and various engineering documents. You will be responsible for following up technically with suppliers and review supplier documentations. You will work closely with other engineers and technical persons from different disciplines as material, NDT, flow assurance, SW, designers.

You probably have bachelor or master degree in electrical/ mechanical/ process engineering, with limited or some experience in engineering work, demonstrating good technical understanding. We use TCE and SAP but knowledge in these tools is not a prerequisite.

As a person, you are solution oriented, like challenges and eager to learn. You work systematically and independently in a hectic environment and is not afraid to step in and take responsibility. You enjoy to work in a team with close cooperation to others. You have good communication skills and work well in cross-functional teams as well.

This position will be based in Kongsberg, Norway.
