QHSE Supervisor

Magseis Fairfield is expanding and to ensure success we are seeking an experienced and motivated QHSE Supervisor to join our global QHSE team in Oslo. The main function and responsibility of this role will be to work closely with the QHSE Manager in providing guidance, support and assistance across the project and technical support teams.

MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITES:

• Support the QHSE operations manager during all phases of the project acquisition planning process
• Work closely with all members of the QHSE team to ensure that a strong QHSE culture is effectively supported and maintained across the business line
• Provide system administration for the QHSE reporting system
• Monitor QHSE performance for the Eastern Hemisphere operations group including offshore projects
• Review and maintain the QHSE statistical reporting records for all projects
• Assist and be directly involved in internal and external audits
• Work together with the QHSE Manager to build and deliver client/project related presentations
• Manage update, review and control of operational documentation
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• University degree or equivalent
• NEBOSH International general certificate
• Relevant experience and professional qualifications may be accepted as an alternative to requested degree or HSE qualification
• Formal Lead Auditor training
• Investigation training

• Minimum two year in position as QHSE Assistant or experience from similar positions and/or offshore experience such as seismic department Chief or Party Manager

• Possess the ability to work under pressure
• Strong organizational and administrative computer skills required
• Good excel and word skills
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Fluent in spoken English
• Excellent written English skills

• Domestic and international travel as required
• Travel to vessels
• Holder of a valid passport without restrictions
