Software House is looking for front-end and back-end developers

We develop software that automates administration and engineering tasks. Software developed is intended both for internal use in the Aker family and for external customers. The successful applicant will be part of a product development team in a growing software house. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and innovative. 

Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Work with developers to design algorithms and flowcharts
• Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications
• Integrate software components and third-party programs
• Verify and deploy programs and systems
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software
• Gather and evaluate user feedback
• Recommend and execute improvements
• Create technical documentation for reference and reporting
• Be a player in a software product development team 

Knowledge/skills required:

• Technical knowledge and understanding of cloud development
• Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer or similar role
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment
• Knowledge of coding languages (e.g. Java, JavaScript, C#) and frameworks/systems (e.g. AngularJS, Git)
• Experience with databases and Object-Relational Mapping frameworks
• Ability to learn new languages and technologies
• Excellent communication skills
• Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude
• Attention to detail
• Lifelong learner!

Experiences required:

• 1-3 years of experience
• Preferably experience from software development. Preferable from cloud developments on Google Cloud Platform and/or Microsoft Azure
• Preferably experience as a Solution Architect and/or as backend developer. Preferable from cloud developments on Google Cloud Platform and/or Microsoft Azure

Educational background:

• University level (science) or relevant experience from Software development and design

• Angular - Javascript/Typescript
• HTML/CSS
• Database Technology - SQL & NoSQL
• Containerization (Docker/Kubernetes/…)
