Senior Systems Engineer, Core Services

Overall responsibilities:
The Systems Engineers primary focus is global operation of core network services: DNS, Domain replication, AD services and Azure services.

Specific tasks could be:

• Operation of core network services as DNS, Domain and replication
• Operation of AD services, AD sync and External DNS
• Operation of Virtual environments (VMWare, Nutanix)
• Operation of Azure services
• Security
• Monitoring, analysis and event-management related to core infrastructure
• 2nd and 3rd level support
• Cooperate with network system owners
• Support other departments when needed

Marin IT requires the following education, competence and experience (Preferred but not mandatory):

Qualifications:

• Relevant education or Certificate of apprenticeship
• Minimum 3 years of experience
• Good communication skills in Norwegian and English, written and oral
• Good practical experience with operating larger networks
• Good Microsoft server OS knowledge
• Knowledge of the ITIL processes and ISO 9001 processes
