We are looking for a Junior SAS Engineer

Aker Solutions AS, SEIT (SAS, Electrical, Instrument & Telecom) department based in Mid Norway is responsible for delivering Operations, Maintenance and Engineering Services to our clients within the Oil & Gas market. The team consist of 55 engineers working in different projects in Mid Norway. We are looking for a Junior SAS Engineer who can strengthen our team in Kristiansund.

Responsibilities and tasks:

• System Engineering - SAS
• Participate in concept study and project execution in modification projects
• PRE ( package responsible engineer) activities for Control systems, F&G, PSD, ESD
• Prepare documentation for on/offshore installation
• Preparation of drawings, specifications and data sheets
• Prepare engineering work packages
• Evaluation of power generation and distribution, power analyses as well as cost, measurement and weight estimation in a multi discipline environment.
• Follow-up vendors and electro equipment
• Onshore and offshore survey/FAT
• Delivering results and meeting customer expectations.

Qualifications & personal attributes: 

• Minimum Bachelor degree (BSc) ) in Safety and Automation engineering 
• Relevant experience from onshore or offshore projects within oil and gas
• Good knowledge of relevant rules & regulations
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to take initiative and to be flexible
• Fluent in Norwegian and English - verbally and orally
