Are you looking for a strategic finance position in a great, global company?
Finance Director focuses on financial planning, control and reporting. The role is responsible for the local finance function in TMF Norway. The job holder has extensive knowledge of IFRS as well as Norwegian reporting standards and relevant Norwegian legislation.
Finance Director is a member of the local Management Team and reports to the Managing Director (direct) and the Regional CFO (indirect).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and delivers financial metrics that enable local management to make effective operational and strategic decisions
- Guides discussions on financial aspects of the business, hereunder client relationships and business development
- Supports the Managing Director regarding business planning and local strategy development
- Oversees the data quality in our core systems for financial planning, reporting and control
- Drives budgeting and forecasting
- Ensures adequate systems and control routines for local business and customer services
- Oversees and responsible for all internal financial administration, e.g. bookkeeping, billing, debt collection, ledgers, month end closings and reporting
Key Competencies:
- Ability to accurately and timely develop and deliver financial figures and reporting ensuring that it is appropriate for purpose and compliant with relevant frameworks
- Takes overall accountability for the delivery and coaches, develops and effectively manages performance of teams and interfaces
- Result oriented - strong drive to meet or exceed targets
- Builds and maintains relationships at all levels across the group to drive local strategy
- Desire to improve business performance and develop new opportunities
- Understands and explains financial implications of business decisions
- Strong focus on compliance in all parts of the business operations
- Experience in Microsoft Dynamics
Key Requirements:
- Graduate in a relevant field and a professional qualification
- 5+ years’ experience in a relevant role
- Prior people management experience
- Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 experience is essential
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and Norwegian or a Scanidnavian language
