About the Unit
Yara is looking for a SharePoint & Office 365 Developer to strengthen business productivity and collaboration within Yara. The person will be responsible for development and a key contributor in the SharePoint Team within the Global Delivery Unit.

You and your team will define the roadmap, execute its delivery, maintain and manage the lifecycle of SharePoint and Office 365 applications. You will act in close cooperation with the business and actively drive business productivity by enabling users to work smarter using apps & services within the IT portfolio.
The two main hubs related to SharePoint Services are in Oslo and Brussels, both from a team and stakeholder perspective. Some travelling between those centers is required, approximately 10-15 days a year. The position will be based in Oslo and report to the Manager of SharePoint Services.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain solutions based on Microsoft’s technology, SharePoint and Office 365
- Work within a product team consisting of a product owner(s), tech lead, and developers to create solutions meeting business needs
- Participate in the full life cycle of deliverables, from early stage rapid prototyping through to full market release and continuous improvement after initial launch
- Design and develop user centric collaboration solutions
- Contribute and shape continuous delivery and new ways of working in the team
- Close collaboration with related continuous delivery teams to solve challenges and maintain level of technical consistency across the Office 365 and SharePoint Server platforms
- Understand business needs and processes and translate these into solutions
- Stay current on trends in collaboration software in general and specifically the Office 365 platform
- Stay current on relevant regulatory issues (e.g. consumer privacy laws, outsourced data and specific industry guidelines)
Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Five or more years’ experience with Microsoft SharePoint
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English, including the ability to capture and explain goals and objectives to business as well as technical leadership
- Experience with modern development frameworks and libraries which are relevant in the SharePoint development stack (angular, react, Office PnP, PowerShell)
- Familiar with Office 365 technologies like Microsoft Teams, Office 365 Groups, Stream, PowerApps, Power BI and Forms
- Familiar with cloud hosting architectures and concepts like IAAS, PAAS and SAAS
- Experienced in information architecture and analysis
- Understanding of business processes within relevant areas
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs
- Ability to understand and transfer business requirements into viable technical solutions
- Ability to estimate the financial impact of solution alternatives
