Instrument Engineer

For one of our clients we are searching for an Instrument Engineer

Job Description:

• Preform studies
• Estimate studies and projects
• Produce new and revise existing documentation and drawings
• Produce work packages for installation
• Produce deliverables for studies and Front End Loading (FEL) work
• Produce documentation for Safety and Automation Systems (SAS)
• Discipline check and approval of produced documents and drawings in the project
• Order all instrument materials needed for offshore installation
• Must be able to understand P&IDs and drawings from different disciplines
• Discussions with Client and vendor representatives in order to find optimal technical solutions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or master degree within relevant area
• Minimum 5 years’ experience from instrument engineering in large modification projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf
• Have good knowledge to laws, standards and norms applicable for the discipline
• Have good communication skills in English and Norwegian(preferable) both orally and in writing
• Have a cooperative working attitude
• Be systematic and accurate
• Have a high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
• Have the ability to see multiple design – cases (solution oriented)
