We now have a vacant position as Senior Engineer - Pump Systems
The business area of subsea process systems was established in 1999 to develop solutions for subsea processing. Subsea Processing is growing at a fast pace and new technologies are continuously being developed.
Developments of oil & gas fields will increasingly be at large water depths and involve long distances. Together with our technology partner, Sulzer we have developed and qualified Subsea Pump solutions, and have delivered this technology to 2 major oil companies. Subsea Processing is targeting the growing business opportunities and technology challenges in this area, so we intend to expand the Subsea Pump Systems group within Subsea Processing.
Main Tasks
Contribute with pump expertise in the design of subsea boosting, separation or gas compression systems
Establish technical specifications and perform evaluation and selection of pumps
Coordinate and interface other relevant disciplines
Follow up purchase orders, manufacturing and testing/qualification activities
System analysis and sizing of pump hydraulic for the application
Participate in studies, tenders, development, delivery and testing of Subsea Pump technology and systems for subsea processing and other subsea applications.
Preferred qualifications and personal skills:
The right candidate is educated and experience within the area of Mechanical design. We are looking for an experienced engineer within centrifugal pump design and/or manufacturing.
Outgoing and energetic, with the ability to generate results working both in a team and alone
Graduate engineer (M.Sc.) or equivalent with background from rotating machinery
Relevant experience, preferably from the oil and gas industry
Graduates or other relevant experience may be considered for more junior positions within the same department
