Mechanical Engineer

For our customer in Stavanger we are searchin for Mechanical Engineers for their Controls Systems segment in Stavanger, that consist of approx. 110 persons in different departments. Hardware Technology is a common Department for all hardware in Controls Europe. They do the design, devolvement and deliver all mechanic and Electrical hardware towards operator/user and all electric hardware towards process/machine.

 
Hardware Technology has a close corporation with several other disciplines in controls to increase the value for all products and services the company can offer. Controls Europe works to promote sale and innovation of the company products, this through high level of automation / autonomous design and to deliver smarter equipment topside that will prepare the rig for high grade of drilling automation. 

The subdivision Operator Environment and the Cabin products do experience increased amount of assignment to be performed in a short period of time, and do see the need of hiring consultants. The department is responsible for several products, studies, analyses etc. 

Work tasks: 
Design of operator-cabin products. 
Generate and verify technical documentation. 
Follow up production. 
Mechanical Representative in project deliverables. 
Develop and modify/upgrade existing products design. 

We would like to engage Mechanical Engineers, positive persons with high working attitudes and educated to work with Autodesk Inventor 3D modelling and a minimum of 5 years of working experience from offshore related industry. 

The persons must be capable to work independent and structured, but needs to contribute in teamwork as well. 
Good communication skills in both Norwegian and English is required in the positions.
