Job duties

As a Design Engineer you are part of the Design group and will perform conventional design engineering and other technical tasks utilizing current technology and available standards, templates and applications. You will ensure development, implementation and improvement of the company’s quality system, alongside with suggesting improvements to both products and develop new concepts to ensure the right quality and competitiveness for the company in the market. Hence, your main tasks will include, but not be limited to:

• Contribute to concepts and development of new products and procedures
• Discuss and lay out project specifications
• Make detailed plans to accomplish goals
• Review and/or modify product designs
• Draft proposals and reports for clients
• Check technical accuracy of work
• Confer with and report to higher levels of management
• Weekly report work tasks for previous week and assigned tasks for next week
  
  

We are looking for

you who understand that we all are active contributors to creating the wanted work environment, that makes every day a good and fun day at work. Therefore, you are a strong contributor to good and efficient collaboration, but not strange to working independent. By taking initiative you drive your work forward and manage to deliver according to deadlines.

Furthermore, we are looking for someone who:

• Has a bachelor’s degree within engineering, preferably within mechanics, product design or similar
• Has some years work experience from similar work tasks
• Preferably has experience with SolidWorks, however, good knowledge to other CAD software might be relevant
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
