We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join us as Training Manager!

The service department in Framo is responsible for providing global after sales service, support, spare parts, and training across the whole Framo product range.

Our system provides a crucial role in the worldwide offshore business as well as seaborn chemical and products trade. In our ambition to continuously grow and improve, we are in the process of strengthening our training department team in Bergen, Norway. We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual for the position as Training Manager within our Training department.

The Training Manager plays a central part in the coordination of the training initiatives for both our Marine and Oil & Gas divisions, ensuring that our clients receive the highest quality instruction in the operation and maintenance of Framo products. In the capacity as Training Manager, you will lead the training department and our training instructors. You will also be working closely with our departments abroad to establish a collective effort to serve an train our customers at a high level.   

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of training instructors to facilitate effective utilization of our training department.
• Provide strategic direction and guidance to our training instructors, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Direct the development and implementation of comprehensive training programs tailored to meet the specific needs of our diverse clientele.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to identify technical developments and optimize our training programs.
• Oversee and coordinate training sessions and seminars for clients globally, including shipyards, offshore installations, and our global offices, ensuring consistent delivery of knowledge.
• Oversee and coordinate internal training initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Higher technical education and/or technical background; relevant experience may substitute formal education.
• Track record of a leadership role.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is essential.
• Proactive, well-organized, and capable of independent project management while fostering collaboration and teamwork.
• Knowledge of training best practices and methodologies, coupled with a understanding of technical matter is a plus.
• Previous experience in tanker operations or offshore installations would be advantageous.
