Sr. Mechanical CAD Engineer

For one of our clients in Oslo, we are now looking for a Sr. Mechanical CAD Engineer:

Design engineer
- mechanical
- Mechanical engineer with focus on product development, technical design and materials.
- Proven experience with CAD modelling using Solidworks. Preferably advanced user.
- Product structuring, parametric modelling, configurability.
- Drafting machine drawings; dimensioning and geometric tolerances.
- Practical mechanical experience; prototyping, machining, assembly of products or similar.
- Experience with sizing and calculations.
 
Familiarity with either;
- Programming and databases.
- Advanced FEA (e.g. non-linear, composites, vibration analysis)
- Materials for subsea use, materials science/metallurgy
 
Tasks will be:
Work with our team of engineers with the development and sustain our product groups.
Design of products and equipment related to pressure and flow measurement technology
Design and generation of parts, assembly models and drawings.
 
Will report to the product manager and the lead mechanical engineers

Expected duration: 6 months with option of renewal.
