Responsible engineer for piping bulk materials and special items.
Previous experience with package follow up, piping design and multidisciplinary engineering

Your responsibilities:

• Responsible engineer for piping bulk materials and special item
• Carry out work according to applicable procedures and work instructions
• Prepare technical requisitions and data sheets
• Technical evaluation of supplier quotations including preparation of technical bid comparisons
• Technical liaison with suppliers and with other engineering disciplines
• Review and commenting of supplier documentation
• Check compliance to relevant authority regulations, relevant codes and standards stated in supplier's documentation, and requirements stated in the contract
• Identify and report any extra work related to changes in the scope of work
• Evaluate and respond to technical queries and non-conformance requests.  

Education and work experience:

• Higher technical education (BSc, MSc)
• Minimum 8 years' experience as Package Engineer within the oil & gas sector or similar
• Previous experience with package follow up, piping design and multidisciplinary engineering
• Familiar with Equinor requirements, NORSOK and Norwegian acts and regulations.
