Semcon in Norway is located in Kongsberg with 70 employees. We participate in all parts of the product development chain; market support, specification preparation / preparation of business model, design, production and subcontracting follow-up for testing and verification of the product. You will be a part of the department Mechanical Design with main tasks within structural analysis for a large variety of projects and markets. We expect that you contribute independently into projects and sales.  Main tasks Finite Element Analysis Linear/non-linear Frequency/time domain Fatigue Take an active role in defining direction for the analysis group Technical lead for analysis jobs Provide technical guidance and mentoring Independent sales and promotional work Collaboration with other international departments within Semcon  Qualifications M.Sc.
