We are looking for a mechanical engineer with FEA competence

Main tasks:

Application and detailed engineering related to subsea pump systems
Analytical mechanical calculation (FEM)
Material selection
Documentation, reporting and design input

Personal qualities:

Detail-oriented, with interest in (or experience from) subsea, defense, nuclear or aerospace
Knowledge of multistage centrifugal pumps
Proactive, engaged, creative and problem-solver
Analytical
Fluent in Norwegian and/or English, both oral and written
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Ability to manage a high workload

Education:

Bachelor or Master of Science in relevant disciplines with focus on finite element analysis and/or materials

Experience:

Preferably minimum 5 years’ experience within mechanical engineering
Good skills in FEM analysis
Experience with material selection and relevant standards
