Aker Solutions has recently secured new long-term contracts on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, and the project portfolio in Kristiansund is rapidly expanding. We are now recruiting several new employees to strengthen our teams and prepare for future growth.
We now have an opening for position as Structural Engineer in Aker Solutions Kristiansund.

Responsibilities and tasks:

• Steel structural calculation and construction of main and secondary steel
• Design and modelling of main and secondary steel in PDMS
• Drawing production
• Execute structural concept studies/ FEED studies
• Checking of other engineers analysis, calculations report
• Interaction with other disciplines

Qualifications & personal attributes: 

• BSc/MSc degree with minimum 5-10 years relevant experience
• Good knowledge of Norsok-standards, NS-standards, Eurocodes and DNV-regulation
• Good knowledge of PDMS, general computer technology and structural modelling
• Experience with fatigue analysis
• Skilled in StaadPro and/or GeniE
• Open minded with focus on team effort
• Fluent oral and written in English and Norwegian is a requirement
