Pricing Analyst
Norwegian is looking for a Pricing Analyst. The position is a part of the Ancillary and Pricing team in the Revenue Management department. The department is a part of the Commercial division together with Marketing, Network, and Sales. Your main task will be to define and update a competitive fare structure in all Norwegian's markets. We are looking for someone with excellent analytical, problem-solving, planning, and interpersonal skills. You need to be a self-starter with a strong ability to execute. You prefer data driven decision making over gut feeling.
The position will be based at Norwegian's Head Office in Fornebu, and will report to the Team Manager Pricing and Ancillary. Some travelling will be required.
Tasks
Main Responsibilities
. Day to day management of all fare structures
. Modify and adjust pricing structures based on market performance, competitive environment, and seasonality
. Initiate and maintain appropriate fare structures for new markets
. Ensure that our fare products are competitive and relevant (both for individual passengers, groups, and special products)
. Identify new opportunities and define new ticket products
. Create business cases and project manage the implementation of new fare products
. Monitor and audit that our business- and product-rules are complied with
. Take initiative and effectively communicate with the inventory optimization teams, fares distribution to determine appropriate actions
. Monitor competitors, review competitors' fare changes and implement changes
Qualifications
. University degree in economics, mathematics, statistics, or general business studies
. 2+ years' experience in an analytical position and/or experience in airline revenue management preferably with experience in pricing or ancillary revenue, however talented recent graduates are encouraged to apply
. A proven interest in airlines, aviation, or transportation systems
. Ability to handle a high workload
. Strong computer literacy
. Excellent knowledge/super user in Microsoft Excel
. Proficiency in one of the Scandinavian languages is an advantage, but not required
