Very nice 2006 Fountain 38 Lightning for sale!
The boat has gone through completely rebuilt in 2020!
What was done in 2020:
All old balsa/wood materials was removed from hull, bulkheads and other supporting structures and rebuilt from Coosa (mixture of composite and fiberglass and does not absorb any moisture!). Hull is lighter and stronger than originally from the factory, in future there is no fear that stern wall would get wet! In addition, only vinyl ester resin was used when rebuild the structures, is is significantly stronger than originally used materials.
The toilet was removed from the interior, replaced with refrigerator, as well as extensive hi-fi equipment.
All original light-coloured leather surfaces of the interior, seats and roof have been cleaned and reinstalled.
Original carpets from the indoor / outdoor floors and spaces where carpet was used where replaced with new moisture repellent material called Flexiteak, hand made with a special pattern, it is easy to keep clean and does not absorb moisture and can even be sanded if there is a need to clean scratches.
There is Individual taping on the boat, it refracts the light nicely at night, and looks nice when boat is sitting in the harbor. My Dream Boat designed the tapes and were installed a by the company. There are Ready-made formulas available on tapes, so it is easy to print new ones if you want to change/renew them in future.
All upholstery leather of the outdoor area is new (black/silver)
Hardware:
2 x Mercury Racing 700SCI, STAGE 4 (1720hp)
2x IMCO SCX-4 with SCX plates and #6 axels (bought new in 2020 , driven approx. 45 hours).
Propellers are Mercury Cleavers, 5 blade, 17x35x18
Chat Plotter: Simrad NSS EVO3 12" screen
Bluetooth VesselView showing all the information from the machines, e.g. You can hook up your tablet screen and open Mercury's VesselView program on it.
Massive Rockford sound system build with open check book and there is nothing like it in Finland, and it may be that you can find a match for it from whole of Europe!
The boat has been well maintained and fully serviced (with compression checks from the engines) at the end of the each boating season, even if very low usage hours.
Boat will be fully serviced before delivery to new owner!
There is also 3 axel trailer for the boat available, trailer was also refurbished in 2020 and is in great using condition (price to be agreed separately).
Crypto currency can also be used as a means of payment!
