Alu Plaisance - Legende 36
Bygget i Aubagne i Frankrike av båtarkitekt Phillipe Subrero i 1989. Båten ble godkjent etter standardene i det Norske veritas som var godkjennong av båter før CE godkjenning oppsto. Båten er bygget i 1cm tykke aluminiumsplater (AG4MC) med et centerboard som løftes inn og ut av bordet i salongen via en vinsj. Stabiliteten til båten kommer ikke fra vekten i centerboardet men fra en støpt blyplate under dørken. Båten seiler veldig bra og er soesielt kjekk i medvind me kjølen oppheist.

Båten ligger nå i Gibraltar. EU moms betalt (dvs, kan alltid ligge i EU uten problem. Må tolles inn om den skal til Norge) (Polsk registrering). Spør om du lurer på noe! Under er engelsk beskrivelse av båten:

Alu Plaisance - Legende 36

Built in Aubagne in France by the Alu Plaisance shipyard back in 1989. The boat design is by the naval architect Philippe Subrero. The boat has been aproved by the Norske Veritas as seaworthy in accordance with their requierments. (This is what they used before CE was a thing). The boat is built with AG4MC marine aluminium plates which to this day has little to no signs of corrosion what so ever. The boat has a centerboard that is raised and lowered with a winch from the salon that lifts the centerboard into the saloon table. The stability of the boat comes from a lead plate casted in the bottom of the hull. The ship sails very well, and is superior to other boats downwind as you can raise the keel up and fly away downwind!

The boat is now in Gibraltar with EU VAT paid. The boat is registered in Poland (This is very convinient due to no yearly payment and requierments to be fufilled).

Mechanical Equipment

Keel: The boat is fitted with a lifting keel which is amazing for downwind sailing, safety against broaching and also to prevent a knockdown in extreme conditions. The boat is also made to dry out, so you never have to worry about the tide! I newly changed the lifting mechanism as the old one was due for change. The keel should soon get new spacers as it's bobbing a bit too much from side to side when lowered. (New nylon spacers already onboard)

Motor: The brand new thunderstruck 10kw electric brushless DC engine is installed and tested. With the newly installed 300ah 48 volt LiFePO4 battery pack it has 15kwh of stored power. This gives you about 10 hours of motoring time at 3 knots. Or 1,5 at 7 knots. The motor was tested on my sail to Gibraltar and works perfectly. The shaft seal is getting old however, so there is water coming in to the boat when driving. This one should be changed in the next haulout.

Rig: Brand new custom stitched fully battented mainsail, lazybag and a 110% jib. The boat also comes with an old mainsail and two trysails. The boat also have setup for flying a spinnaker. Most of the running rigging has recently been changed. I have little knowledge of the standing riggings age, the previous owner told me the shrouds was changed in 2021. The rig is set up as a solent with a roler furler at the front.

Electronics: The boat is fitted with a brand new 48v electrical system. The navigational equipments in the boat is however old, and not everything is working. The windmeasurement works, brand new raymarine st2000+ autopilot, new handheld vhf radio, 16kwh total power capacity at both 12v and 48v. Victron dc/dc charger, 12volt battery charger, 48 volt battery charger. Also has a radar.

Power generation: I just ordered 2 big 550w solar panels which was going on the new solar arch. The Aluminium tubing and welder is already onboard ready for you to designed the arch however you prefer. This setup will generate enough power in the day to keep 2,5 knots of speed without the use of any battery-power.

Anchor windlass: Powerful 12v anchorwindlass for 10mm chain.

Accommodations

3 cabins where it is possible to sleep two. 2 Fridges (one of them has a freezer unit), roomy galley. Alot of storage space. Shower in the head and in the aft on the swimming platform (not connected). 

Additional Equipment

The sailboat come with a 10ft plastic dinghy. It is a sailing dinghy, but I have not found the mast for it. The sail is onboard.

Onboard there is a case with flares and rockets for emergencies.

Deck and Hull Equipment

The hull is the best part of this boat in my opinion. You get a very strong, lightweight, non-corrosive ag4mc aluminium hulled boat for a bargain compared to any other places. I belive the hull thickness is 1cm, but I have no documents on this. The inner support beam thickness is 1cm everywhere troughout the boat.
