Oyster 395 Lightwave

This Oyster Lightwave 395 is designed to fly, and she does. The owner has taken care to increase the comfort of "Zoom" without compromising on her racing ability. Standing and running rigging were replaced in 2014 from a professional rigging company. The boat was originally build with the extented draft version - a larger heavier fitting (original by Oyster UK). The original engine has been replaced with a new Sole Mini (ca. 40h only/fresh water cooled) in 2019. The boat has always been ashore while not been in use with the mast off.. During the two years of the COVID pandemic, the the hull was rubbed, polished and sealed, the forward hatch cover reglazed, port lights beeing re-sealed and the forward bunk mattresses recovered and many other things replaced. Like work on plumbing included fitting a new water pump, cleaning and replacing fuel & water tanks and fitting a new pump to the sea toilet. The boat is ready to sail and exploring more of the Aegean and is just waiting for a new owner. As the boat is offering lots of space inside, the owner (185cm tall) can stand and walk without any hassle inside the entire boat. VAT paid. The boat is stored on the hard stand on Aegina island, which is just south of Athens and could be reached within 1.5 hours from Athens international airport. Price is negotiable.

What sets this Oyster 395 Lightwave apart from other boats is the quality of her accommodation. Rather than have 10 crew she sleeps 6 in comfort. The accommodation is spacious and bright. Down below is saloon with galley and nav station and a large aft cabin and a forecabin and good sized heads compartment. The upholstery is in good order. The boat could be heated and has a shower.

The saloon provides ample seating and has a table which can be deployed or folded away. Two single berths can be created here. There is a double in the forecabin and an offset double with seat and dry locker in the large aft cabin. The heads compartment has handbasin, shower and covered shelving. There is a wet locker as well as plenty of dry storage. As the boat is offering lots of space inside, the owner (185cm tall) can stand and walk without any hassle inside the entire boat. The boat could be easily sailed with two people or single-handed. All lines are coming together in the cockpit.
