Frequently asked questions about real estate advertising

Fornying av annonsen (renewing your ad) will lift your listing to the top of the search results, and relevant buyers will be notified through push notifications and email.

Eiendom Norge and FINN real estate have collaborated on a set of criteria in order for brokers and real estate agents to make use of Fornying av annonsen*. One of the following criterias have to be met:

• The listing has been off the market for at least 20 days, or

• There's been a substantial change in the indicative selling price of at least 5 % or 300 000 NOK since the latest ad publishing

If your ad meet one or both of the criterias, but still aren't renewed, you have to connect with your point of contact in FINN real estate. We're happy to help!

Blink is an add-on product that is available for purchase through our ad system FINN Admin. Log in to Admin and click on the ad in question – you'll be able to purchase it there.

Our business customers can enter a partner agreement with us so that Blink is automatically applied to all ads for a discounted price. Send us an email at eiendomkoordinator@finn.no, and we'll onboard you!

First, go to finn.no. Log in as you usually would. Click "Min FINN" (My FINN) at the top right, and scroll down until you find "For bedrifter" (For businesses) at the bottom. This is where you'll find all ads published for your business!

This means you do not have an active partner agreement with FINN. Please reach out to your point of contact in FINN (you'll see who that is in Admin), so that we can set up a new contract for you.

NB! New users have to be added using an email address that is connected to their Schibsted/FINN account. They can verify which one that is by checking which email they use to log in to FINN.

A Schibsted account (previously known as SPID-konto/SPID account), is a universal login and payment solution for all Schibsted companies. This is why you'll usually log in using the same username and password to a range of different platforms like FINN, Aftenposten or VG.

When you use your Schibsted account information to log into www.finn.no, you'll end up in your personal FINN account - this is you as a regular FINN user, where you can see all your personal ads.

When you become a business customer or partner customer of FINN, we'll ask for an email that we can assign admin or super user rights to. This is the email you use to log in to your personal FINN account with; the reason is security measures, as this account is Bank ID verified. Therefore, you'll use the same login information for Admin after we've set up Admin access for you. If you've never used FINN before we'll set up an entirely new account for you.

There are two ways you can log into Admin:

1) Go to www.finn.no/finn/admin/, and you'll either be able to access the account right away, or you'll be asked to log in
2) Go to www.finn.no, and log in as you usually would. Click "Min FINN" (My FINN) at the top right, and scroll down until you find a grey box marked "For bedrifter" (For businesses) at the bottom. This is where you'll find all ads published for your business!

– Do you need to grant access to your colleagues? As an admin/super user you can grant access yourself, or we can set it up for you.

– Do you need to create a Schibsted account? Click here.

– Do you need help with your Schibsted account? Contact us here.

The solution depends on if the ad was placed as a Bolig til salgs (Homes/houses/apartments for sale) and should have been e.g. Fritidsbolig til salgs (Holiday or vacation homes for sale), or if it's the other way around.

In both instances you have to stop the ad you've published, and create a new one with its own individual FINN-kode (FINN ad ID code). This is because the wrong product will be the base for your ad (and grounds for invoicing), even if you change the ad type after publishing. The product determines the price, add on-options and target group for your ad.

1) If the ad is placed as a Bolig til salgs ad, but should have been Fritidsbolig til salgs, we cannot stop invoicing from happening. You have to wait for the invoice and contact us so that we can credit and re-invoice your ad.

2) If the ad is placed as a Fritidsbolig til salgs (or another ad type), but should have been Bolig til salgs, we will be able to stop invoicing from happening. You have to send us an email with both FINN ad ID codes connected to the original ad and the one you create with the correct ad type.

Contact us or customer service at your third party brokerage system if you're unsure about how to place a new ad on the same PO number/reference number.

Fornying av annonsen (renewing an ad) on Nybygg ads (ads for new builds) will be renewed automatically every month. If you wish to stop the renewal, you'll have to do the following:

– Go to Bedriftssenteret
– Click the "Stopp betaling" (stop payment) button

It is not possible to stop an ad renewal through Admin.

If your ads are created using a third party/brokerage system, you'll have to contact their customer support.
