A solid sound that features full projection with rich resonant tone, combined with fine, crisp snare response. In order to achieve this new sound, we have developed a concept that incorporates entirely new hoop, lug, and strainer designs, married to a variety of uniquely constructed drum shells. This model features a 1mm thick stainless steel shell for a solid, resonant tone. That shell combined with the R.S.E. (Resonant Sound Edge) provides a bright, open sound reminiscent of vintage metal snare drums from the 20's.
