It might be the most affordable bike in the range, but the eSPRESSO CITY 300 EQ SE uses that budget wisely. Shimano's proven, high value for money E5000 pedal-assist motor is powered by a semi-integrated 418 Wh battery and we've fitted an impressive level of kit as standard, including mudguards, lights, rack, lock and a kickstand. Strong but controllable hydraulic disc brakes help you stop with ease, while the Shimano 9-speed drivetrain offers clean and smooth shifts.

The eSPRESSO CITY is all about getting you where you want to without fuss and in comfort, thanks to a range of smooth yet powerful pedal-assist motors, a convenient low-step-through frame and standard fit equipment such as lock, mudguards, lights and rack that make navigating urban life that much easier. All models (except 300 SE EQ) feature the ENERGY CRADLE frame design that holds the internal (model depending) battery with an even lower and wider step-through frame with excellent stiffness, plus derailleur or low-maintenance hub gearing options.
