I disse unike møblene brukes anilinleather. Det er mykt og smidig grunnet at ingen lakk er lagt på skinnet. Det er derfor merker som naturen selv legger igjen på skinnet blir synlige. Noe nyanse forskjeller i farge, struktur kan derfor forekomme. Det er nettopp dette som gjør disse varene så unike og eksklusive.

The Kensington collection is a modern take on the classic leather Chesterfield sofa. Adopting the Chesterfield´s distinctive, deep buttoned detailing and quilted leather upholstery, each Kensington piece employs the most traditional construction methods including eight-way hand tied springs and over 700 hand-applied studs. Its level of authenticity is further enhanced with use of gently distressed, vintage leather, adding an antiquated aesthetic to the collection, while proportions and shapes are refined and renewed for a modern sensibility.


WHY IS THIS LEATEHR SO SPECIAL?
We use top grain leather, which is the most luxurious in the world. Each piece has undergone a special 5 week tanning process involving natural oils to give it a beautiful finish. To produce our Vintage leather, our craftsmen carefully hand finish each piece in a variety of ageing processes, each taking a considerable amount of time and detailed work.

Each piece of leather used maintains its natural pigmentation, which means that no sofa or armchair is exactly the same - making it unique to you. The beauty of our top grain leather also means that it breathes easily and wears for longer; so you can enjoy it for years to come.

Uncorrected aniline leather is the most expensive leather in the world. Why? Because only the very best hides are used. Each hide, and so each piece of furniture is 100% unique and, because it is a natural product, will vary slightly in colour.

Vintage leather overview:
Characteristics=Full aniline, hard vintage and antique crack look.
Appearance=Old and crack wax vintage look.
Feeling=Hard
Ageing=Resistant to scratches, became softer as is used and increases the antique look.
How to clean=All leathers must be always cleaned with a dry cloth or slight damped in natural water if necessary. Avoid hard rubbing when cleaning. Vacuum the seat platforms to remove dust or crumbs. Our leather does not require feeding but can be enriched by using a quality leather
cream.

Fudge leather overview:
Inspiration=Antique, aged and used leather furniture.
Characteristics=Semi aniline antique waxy look with lighter areas.
Appearance=Soft, deconstructed anduneven look.
Feeling=Soft.
Ageing=Normal resistance.
How to clean=All leathers must be always cleaned with a dry cloth or slight damped in natural water if necessary. Avoid hard rubbing when cleaning. Vacuum the seat platforms to remove dust or crumbs. Our leather does not require feeding but can be enriched by using a quality leather cream.
