Skrivebordet er inspirert av World War II kampfly North American XB-70 Valkyrie som var et supersonisk strategisk bombeflyprosjekt utviklet av North American Aviation Inc. Flyet, som kunne fly over tre ganger lydens hastighet.

Kontorbordet har aerodynamiske kurver i aluminium med stål skruer spitfire. Aluminiumet har en matt finish og fremhever et vintage utseende. Hakk, små riper og andre merker er å forvente og dette legger til en ekstra unik karakter for hvert produkt da ingen er helt identiske.

Named after the North American Aviation XB-70 Valkyrie;
the strategic bomber prototype used for supersonic
test flights in the 1960s. The aerodynamic shape of the
Timothy Oulton Valkyrie is clad entirely in our signature
Spitfire finish in homage to one of the greatest fighter
planes ever built; the British Supermarine Spitfire, which
ruled the skies in World War II. Mimicking the plane’s
riveted exterior, aluminium panels are painstaking shaped
and then fixed by hand-applied nails. A five-stage finishing
process creates the impression of worn, distressed metal.

Our aerodynamically-inspired Aviator range was influenced by the historical British Royal Airforce World War II Spitfire fighter plane. Interlocking aluminum panels are riveted together then put through a five stage process to distress themetal creating the unique Spitfire finish. The aerodynamic Valkrie desk is reminiscent of the plane’s wing tip, featuring 3 canvas-lined shelves and a built in hole to manage unwanted wires. The Aviator collection is available in Spitfire finish.
