Product Manager

Product Team Description

Our product team is passionate about being part of a company that can solve challenging problems and create innovative solutions with and for our customers. The product team is comprised of highly skilled Product Managers with deep experience in commercial, enterprise software combined with industry expertise in oil & gas, maritime, utilities, manufacturing, and renewable energy.

Responsibilities

• You will define product vision and develop, maintain, and execute a long-term product roadmap
• You will define product pricing and helps shape go-to-market strategy through implementation with sales & marketing team
• You will collaborate directly with cross-functional teams to deliver products & features, including release planning and sprint backlog prioritization
• You will engage frequently with the development team; facilitating discussions, providing product requirements, user story acceptance and refinement, testing and validation
• You will serve as key stakeholder in UI/UX, including high level mockups/sketches
• You will coordinate with internal partners to ensure commercial readiness at product launch and ongoing support
• You will build the business case behind product development efforts, serving as the “bridge” between our customers and development teams in product planning, development, and release
• You will present on products and rapport building with internal and external partners
• You will stay current on market trends, competitive analysis, and the needs of our customers to inform product strategy

Required Qualification

• You have a Bachelor's degree in a STEM major (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math)
• You have 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager
• You have demonstrable experience in user centered design and product thinking
• You have worked within a SaaS product company
• You are an excellent verbal and written communicator with strong presentation abilities
• You are passionate about and interested in learning new technologies 
• You are able to navigate between the business and technical domains of enterprise software development
• You have shown ability to balance the needs of customers and partners against limited internal resources

Desired Additional Experience/Skills

• Masters degree
• Demonstrable experience in big data and applied analytics
• Operational domain knowledge of one or more of our focus industries: oil & gas, maritime, utilities, manufacturing, or renewables
• Working experience as a solution architect or sales engineer, solution selling or translating customer requirements to product capability
• Working experience as a Scrum Master or Product Owner
• Working experience in building SaaS products within public cloud services
• Experience handling beta or pilot projects for new product offerings
• Entrepreneurial or startup experience
