1. Increased the Flash index from 33 to 38 (at 35mm focal length, ISO 100 in meters) and 53 (at 35mm focal length, ISO 200 in meters)
2. This YN-460 II has the output power fine-tuning function, If the 7 output power can´t meet your demand, You can press " + " or " - " buttons to fine tune the output power of the flash with step length of 1/7 ev in order to obtain finer exposure control, so there are 48 step length for you to choose.)

FULLY MANUAL / AUTOMATIC FLASH
This YN-460 Mark II is a fully manual flash, with manual mode and two kinds of optical slave mode.
It use two main buttons to control the flash power in 7 different level ( full, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, 1/32, and 1/64), and using the MODE+PILOT buttons to control in 1/7-stop increments in 46 levels to obtain finer exposure control.
With this flash, you can do everything about flash exposure by yourself. This YN460 Mark II is also a great little unit if you have radio triggers.
OPTICAL SLAVE
The YN-460 sensor is on the head, and this YN-460 Mark II sensor is on the back of the red piece, better for your flash system. It's very sensitive, even the DSLR/DC bulid-in flash can fire it.
The YN-460 has 2 optical slave modes. S1 mode is for normal optical slave, and S2 mode is for a pre-flash cancel slave. Each of the modes remembers the last power setting selected, unless you turn the flash off.
FLEXIBLE BOUNCE FUNCTION
The light emission part can be moved 90•upward, 180•to the left and 90•to the right, flexibly responding to every possible bounce shooting situation. The swivel is a very useful function for both on and off camera work.
When using bounce flash, consider also using the retractable catch light panel. This is a white, semi-rigid plastic-like panel meant to create a bright reflection in the subject's eyes.
SET 1/7-stop Increment:
1. Choose a power setting such as 1/4;
2. Keep pressing the MODE button, and then press the PILOT button;
3. Only the middle indicator light will blink. It means it's in a fine-tuning mode;
4-5. Press the "+" button to increase your output power by 1/7-stop. Picture 4 shows "1/4 and 2/7-stop", Picture 5 shows "1/4 and 3/7-stop";
6. Press the "-" button to reduce your output power by 1/7-stop. Picture 6 shows "1/4 and -2/7stop", equals to "1/8 and 5/7-stop".
