Grand Hotel Oslo is looking for Maintenance Worker ( temporary position)

Would you like to work at one of Norway's most iconic hotels? Grand Hotel Oslo is seeking a service-minded and hands-on Maintenance Worker to join our Technical Department.

As part of our team, you will help ensure that the hotel's facilities and technical systems are maintained to the highest standards, creating exceptional experiences for both our guests and employees. This is a varied role offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic and international hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, meeting rooms, and back-of-house facilities

• Carry out minor repairs and preventive maintenance tasks

• Assist with the inspection and upkeep of technical installations and equipment

• Monitor and maintain hotel inventory, furniture, fixtures, and equipment

• Handle waste management and recycling procedures

• Follow daily maintenance checklists and assigned work orders

• Collaborate with other hotel departments to support smooth operations

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Technical Manager

Qualifications

• Previous experience in maintenance, property operations, facilities management, or a related field is preferred

• Technical background is an advantage

• Ability to work independently and efficiently

• Service-oriented attitude with teamwork skills

• Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Norwegian is an advantage

• Flexible, reliable, and proactive approach to work
