We’re looking for a Head of Delivery Norway to join Oda!

We are seeking a visionary Head of Delivery to lead our operations into the future.

As Head of Delivery, you will oversee the entire delivery operation and lead the team responsible for last-mile delivery from our fulfillment center right to our customers' doorsteps. This full-time, permanent role supports the Director of Operations in achieving our ambitious goals for growth, customer satisfaction, and efficiency.

With numerous exciting projects currently in motion, we believe in setting our new leaders up for success through a high-quality, gradual onboarding process. For the first 5–6 months, you will report to our Interim Head of Delivery and focus your leadership primarily on our driver organization. As you master this core part of our business and the ongoing projects settle, you will systematically transition into taking full ownership of the department. Ultimately, you will assume leadership for the entire delivery organization, including Fleet, Project, Network, and the Last Mile Office. This phased approach ensures you have the time, support, and context needed to lead our entire team with confidence.

What you’ll be doing as Head of Delivery Norway

• Lead an organization of approximately 700 drivers and leaders distributed across six different locations.

• Advocate and continuously improve how we do our Delivery Operations and bring out the best from insight data to continuously improve our practices and ways of working in a 'happy but not satisfied' manner. We aim for world class quality and excellent delivery precision with capacity to serve our customers at all times.

• Support the Director of Operations in planning, helping prepare and improve routines and standards in the department, facilitate and follow up on the department’s KPIs and strategy process, including improving and reporting on HSE and compliance.

• Understand cost drivers and dynamics to improve fixed and variable delivery cost. This will ensure you can forecast monthly, quarterly and annual results.

• Recruit and onboard people to the company and within your area. You will be instrumental to this growth, and we expect you to develop a diverse and inclusive environment for people to thrive.

• Make sure we support, grow and develop talented and passionate teams members, both in the short and long term.

• Identify, introduce and develop how your teams operate to achieve and maintain high autonomy, mastery and purpose over time as we grow and evolve as a company.

• Ensure that we actively share learning and opinions with others around us both internally and externally via talks and other relevant forums.

• Collaborate with other leaders at our HQ in Tøyen, while also maintaining a presence at our larger Lier and Alnabru sites.

What you need to thrive in this role 💡

To thrive in this role, you must be a collaborative, team-oriented leader with a philosophy based on trust, able to develop high-performing teams. You need solid judgement and comfort with data, capable of collecting, analyzing, and interpreting figures to make sound decisions and manage stressful situations mindfully during challenges.

You are highly structured, pragmatic, and possess a strong sense of ownership to work independently. A strong interest in last mile delivery and customer service is essential.

Finally, you must have experience in logistics, data analysis, leading teams, and process improvement, and be fluent in both written and spoken English and Norwegian.
