Our youngster Indigo (19.08.2023, castrated male) is looking for a new home.
He`s an Alaskan Husky, born and raised in our kennel around other dogs and lots of people. Indigo is very social, happy with humans and all other dogs. Can`t ever get enough cuddles and has the best big brown eyes.
The sole reason he`s looking for a new home at this age is, that he turned out to have a mild case of congenital laryngeal paralysis (CLP), a rare genetic condition which causes breathing difficulties during heavy physical activity, but has no effect on his overall health and is not progressively getting worse. Our veterinarian's assessment is that he can surely live a long, fulfilled pet dog life but being a working dog would be less enjoyable for him.
Indigo already has tested out the pet dog life and absolutely loves it. He loves children and is careful around them. He`s still young, playful and has lots of energy, but can relax on the couch for hours.
Due to his condition he needs someone that would teach him not to pull on the leash. Then he can join all the activities. Ideal for him would be a fenced in backyard or a dogpark close by (he has shown to be a favorite of humans and dogs there).

He is vaccinated, dewormed, has a passport and is checked by our veterinarian.
