Your mission

We are looking for a Head of Finance & Controlling to lead and further develop finance, accounting, controlling and risk management for a nationwide retail organization with strong growth ambitions.

In this role, you are a trusted financial advisor to senior management and the Board, and a key contributor to strategic and operational decision-making as part og the management team.

Key responsibilities:

As Head of Finance & Controlling, you will:

• Take overall responsibility for finance, accounting, controlling, cash and risk management
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and high-quality monthly reporting
• Drive profit-oriented business steering through strong analysis, KPIs and insights
• Ensure compliance with legal, statutory and group requirements
• Lead and develop a finance organization with direct leadership responsibility of 4 resources, and 6 indirect located in shared services in Lithuania.
• Support strategic initiatives such as integration, M&A activities and network development
• Act as a key sparring partner to the Managing Director and part of management team

The role is part of the central management team in Norway.

What you bring

• Have solid experience in finance, accounting and controlling at a senior level
• Enjoy combining hands-on operational responsibility with strategic influence
• Have led teams and know how to build structure, accountability and performance
• Are confident working in a matrix or multinational environment
• Communicate fluently in English and Norwegian, and are comfortable advising senior stakeholders
  

Your background

• Master's degree in economics, Finance or similar
• 6+ years of experience within finance, accounting and/or controlling, preferably in a retail organization
• Leadership experience and strong business understanding
• Experience with budgeting, reporting, cash management and internal controls
• M&A or integration experience is an advantage
