Senior Consultant | Assurance - Technology Risk | Oslo

The opportunity

Our assurance advisory business offers a broad range of functional and cross-country services dedicated to providing high-value and trusted advice to clients, with a specific focus on business transformation programs. We are now looking for a Senior Consultant to join our fast-growing team within Technology Risk, based in Oslo.

Your key responsibilities

• You will gain insights into cutting-edge IT environments and into our global methodology. Your focus: analysis, evaluation and optimization of processes, structures and systems

• As a member of interdisciplinary specialist teams, you will audit IT systems and information portals with regard to internal control and risk and compliance management. This includes migration tests, third party attestation & certification, IT risk assessments, information security and cyber assessments and data analytics/information management

• You will learn about ”thought leadership” as a way of addressing today’s constantly changing market and challenges. You will expand your expertise with every project alongside our leaders. Furthermore, you will be supported with trainings, courses and learnings in relevant fields

Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role, you must have:

• A Master’s degree in Economics or Business, preferably with a focus on Information Technology

• Typically 2–4 years of relevant experience within IT audit, IT risk management, internal audit or similar roles

• Experience working with IT controls in connection with financial audits

• Fluency in both Norwegian and English

Ideally, you also have experience from a consulting firm, audit firm or an internal audit function and interest in technology, digitalisation and risk management. Strong analytical skills, a structured working style and the ability to work well in teams is highly valued in this role.
