We are looking for a Senior Purchaser for Power Transmission Projects
Job Description
- Responsible for local site purchasing and local vendor management for client
- Reassessment of needs and execution of RFI/RFQ processes
- Contract design, supplier follow-up and purchasing performance management
- Reporting related to purchasing activities and supplier performance
- Risk reduction and continuous improvement within purchasing activities
- Supplier market analysis, market benchmarking and cost structure analysis
- Lead negotiations and supplier selection processes
- Manage contracts, frame agreements and supplier evaluations
- Support category strategy, Business Units and site alignment
- Contribute to competitiveness programs and CSR expectations
- Ensure strong coordination between sites and central purchasing teams
- Support implementation of standard purchasing processes and procurement strategies
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor degree within relevant fields
- Minimum 5 years of purchasing experience
- Good negotiation and communication skills
- Fluent in English and Norwegian, both verbal and written
- Competitive and positive mindset
- Very good Excel analysis skills
- Cohesive and adaptive personality
- Results oriented approach
- Preferably experience with SAP and Ariba
- Strong understanding of purchasing rules and RFQ evaluations
- Experience with TCO matrix use and KPI follow-up
- Knowledge of frame agreements and supplier competition processes
Ability to obtain compliant offers and avoid single source situations
