We are looking for a Environmental Advisor
Job Description
- Support drilling and development activities by providing expert environmental advice and ensuring compliance with environmental standards and regulations
- Follow up relevant government applications and permits related to drilling and development activities
- Contribute to risk assessments and chemical assessments
- Support project activities within approved frameworks and concepts
- Handle and support government correspondence related to environmental matters
- Provide consulting within energy management and emission reduction initiatives
- Follow up and report relevant environmental parameters internally and externally
- Ensure supplier and rig owner compliance through follow-up and duty of care activities
- Contribute to sustainable and environmentally responsible operations across offshore activities
Qualification Requirements
- Relevant higher university degree within environmental science, engineering, sustainability, or similar fields
- Typically 5-10 years of relevant experience within environmental advisory or environmental management
- Strong knowledge of Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS) and European environmental regulations and standards
- Extensive experience with environmental impact assessments
- Thorough understanding of oil and gas industry practices and business conditions
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Norwegian
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
- Strong analytical and advisory capabilities within sustainability and environmental compliance
