The Rolls-Royce site in Trondheim consists of one unite team within different competence groups. We have several exciting assignments in the years ahead, and to strengthen the team, we are looking for a purchaser.
About the position:
As a purchaser in Rolls-Royce Electrical Norway, you will do the procurement of electric machine and system components to support technology development, demonstrators and small series manufacture within marine, civil aero and defence applications. The quality requirements span from ISO9001 to AS9100 with Rolls-Royce specific additional requirements where applicable. This role would also support the operation of Rolls-Royce Electrical Norway.
We expect a strong competence in request for quote (RFQ) and purchase order (PO) processes. This includes negotiations, contract administration, change order management, follow-up of deliveries and handling of potential non-conformances. In addition, some experience within category strategies, supplier qualification, supplier performance management, the Norwegian Transparency Act, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) considerations and supply chain code of conduct requirements would be desirable. This role will cover the range of purchases from regular off-the shelf items to export controlled bespoke items in a global supply chain. The main tasks will be operational, while handling the necessary formalities in a good manner.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher within logistics, supply chain, engineering, economics or administration
5+ years of relevant work experience
Technical understanding, both mechanical and electrical
Legal competence
Xledger, SAP, TeamCenter, OpCenter
Personal characteristics:
Commercially minded and a sharp negotiator
