AM/3D Print Engineer

We are looking for engineers who can strengthen our Additive Manufacturing AM/3D printing department.
About the position
In the role of AM/3D printing engineer, you will play an important part in our continued focus on technology development and future-oriented deliveries. AM is relatively new within the energy/industrial sector, and you will have the opportunity to help develop this area together with us at Aibel. From our office in Harstad, you will work both nationally and globally, with a particular focus on supply security and supplier development in the northern regions.
Responsibilities and tasks include:
✓ Collaborate on AM projects in accordance with established processes and procedures✓ Contribute to the development and improvement of work processes and routines✓ Mechanical/multidisciplinary AM engineering work, defining relevant requirements and how to meet them✓ 3D design of products for 3D printing/AM
Qualifications
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
- Experience and expertise in DfAM (Design for Additive Manufacturing)
- Experience with CAD software such as Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or Onshape
- Experience with 3D product design

You communicate well in both Norwegian and English, and you take a proactive approach by seeking input from others while also sharing your own experience. Additionally, you possess strong interpersonal skills and contribute positively to creating a supportive and professional work environment.
