We´re seeking a methodical Network Engineer
Join us in continuing to revolutionize ocean space operations!
Reliable connectivity is critical to our systems, often in locations where communication is limited, unstable, or difficult to establish. We are looking for a Network Engineer who wants to contribute to the robustness of our networking solutions and become a trusted contributor to how connectivity is integrated into our products.
You will spend most of your time configuring, troubleshooting, and improving networking solutions. This involves working with technologies like routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, SD-WAN, and communication over constrained links, including satellite.
To succeed, it is essential to maintain close cooperation with several teams to ensure the best outcomes for our customers.
In this role, you will be part of our IT team and report directly to the IT Manager.
Your key responsibilities:
Configuring and troubleshooting network solutions in our products
Improving connectivity across wired, wireless and constrained links
Working with engineers across software, hardware and systems integration
Testing and validating solutions before deployment
Contributing to improvements when we see better ways of doing things
Relevant expertise in this role:
Experience with IP networking, VLANs, and firewalls.
Experience from maritime, offshore, or mission-critical environments is an advantage, but not a requirement.
Who are you, then?
Real-world expertise: You understand how networks actually behave, not just how they should behave on paper.
Problem solver at heart: You love digging into complex issues and making things work, even when conditions are far from perfect.
Systemic thinker: You see the big picture and understand how routing, security, and communication integrate into a larger system.
Proactive & methodical: You take a structured approach to your work, ensuring reliability and consistency.
Continuous learner: You are collaborative and curious, with a proven ability to master new technologies quickly.
Adaptable: You are comfortable working within dynamic, multidisciplinary teams and navigating harsh environmental constraints.
Security-first mindset: You approach every networking hurdle with a focus on robust security and long-term stability.
Operational translator: You can translate complex technical challenges into reliable, real-world operational solutions.
Calm under pressure: You remain analytical and composed when connectivity fails in the middle of the ocean.
Value-driven: You are energized by and take true ownership of our core values: Innovate! Enable! Deliver!
What we offer:
A stimulating and dynamic work environment at the forefront of innovative maritime technology.
A meaningful job with an important social mission. The autonomy we create ensures sustainable, efficient, and safe ocean space operations worldwide
A collaborative and growing team of passionate and highly competent professionals.
Opportunities for professional growth and skill development.
A comprehensive and well-organized benefits package.
A strong sense of community, plenty of humour, and social activities that bind us together in a busy everyday life.

Om arbeidsgiveren
Since 2005, Maritime Robotics has pioneered and led the development of advanced sea drones (Uncrewed Surface Vessels USVs) and maritime autonomy. Our core technology, the autonomous navigation system (ANS), enables safe and efficient remote and autonomous operations at sea.
These robotic solutions are vital for precise seabed mapping, ocean research, securing marine infrastructure, and operations in challenging environments. Globally deployed ANS and USVs contribute to sustainable, efficient, and safe maritime navigation, minimizing fuel use. In today’s world, our technology is also crucial for protecting communities and assets. We see growing demand from defence, security, hydrography, marine construction, and the energy sector.
