Head of Pricing Function

Skuld is on an exciting journey to further develop our pricing function. We are now seeking a Head of Pricing Function to join our Finance team in Oslo or London to help deliver on our strategic ambitions.

In this role, you will take the lead in evolving Skuld’s pricing function, influence key business decisions and ensure that the pricing function is a powerful driver of profitability, portfolio strength, and strategic direction.

What you will do:

• Develop, maintain, and further enhance the company’s overarching pricing governance framework
• Lead and develop the pricing function
• Actively contribute to portfolio and product strategy in close cooperation with product experts and management
• Overall responsibility for managing pricing models, assumptions, and methodologies
• Further develop portfolio and aggregate analyses to support decision-making
• Serve as a strong professional sparring partner to underwriting and management
• Contribute to strong pricing discipline and a shared understanding across the organisation

What we are looking for:

• Solid experience in pricing, underwriting, or analytics, preferably within marine insurance
• Strong quantitative skills and ability to challenge models and assumptions
• Higher education within actuarial science, statistics, finance, economics, or equivalent
• An analytical and structured mindset, combined with strong commercial understanding
• High integrity and strong understanding of role and responsibilities
• Relevant leadership experience (highly desirable)
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written, at a high professional level
