Join CHC as Stores Clerk in Bergen
CHC Helikopter Services Norway are recruiting for a new role as Stores Clerk to come and join our CHC team.
This role will be based in Bergen, Norway.
This is a 100 % position, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to be part of a dynamic organisation in a very rewarding area of aviation.
Our bases deliver a high-level service quality, and this role is an important function in our service delivery.
The role will report to the Supply Chain Manager for the region.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for all storage, receipt of goods and shipment of goods, and ensure proper storage and maintaining correct quantities
- Coordinate tools and equipment on location and between bases
- Perform administrative work and follow up on deviations
- Ensure that all equipment has the correct labelling and documentation
- Work in accordance with the company safety and quality procedures and processes
- Deliver all material with appropriate and required documentation contents
- Coordinate and contact between internal and external clients and suppliers
- Work in accordance with the company’s safety and quality procedures
- Purchasing of consumables
- Work with a high focus on cost control and work to improve cost efficiency
- May perform other duties as assigned and within areas of responsibility
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
Required Qualifications
Essential
- Relevant education, preferably a bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics or similar.
- Minimum requirement is a certificate of apprenticeship in logistics.
- Extensive relevant experience may compensate for the lack of formal education
- Driver license class B, class BE is an advantage
- Relevant experience within supply chain, storage, logistics is preferred
- Good administrative and system skills
- Excellent Norwegian and English skills, verbal and written
Desirable
- T1 - T4 Truck certificate
- G4 overhead crane certificate
- Dangerous goods course (IATA DGR)
Skills/Experience:
- Knowledge of logistics-system (AMOS) in an advantage
- Good cooperation skills and the ability to build good relationship with internal and external clients and suppliers
- Excellent verbal and written Norwegian and English skills
