Summer job - Assembly Workshop (sommerhjelp)

We are seeking three motivated summer interns to support our Workshop Assembly department in Stavanger. We encourage candidates with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn to apply.
 
You will play an important part in ensuring efficient flow of equipment to and from the field through receipt, cleaning, preparation, and support to assembly and mobilization activities.

Due to security agreements, background checks are conducted as part of our recruitment process.

Candidates must be available to work from June 22 until mid‑ to late August.

Main Activities & Responsibilities:

• Receiving and handling equipment returned from the field

• Assisting with dismantling, basic maintenance, and preparation of equipment for dispatch

• Helping with simple surface treatment and cleaning of equipment

• General housekeeping and other practical tasks in the workshop

• Participating in training and learning new skills related to the role

• Reporting any issues or deviations according to internal procedures

• Supporting the Assembly and Mobilization workshop when needed

• Understand and follow Interwell QHSE policies and relevant procedures

 Experience, Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience from workshop, industrial, or similar environments is an advantage, but not required

• Truck certificate T1, T4, T5, overhead crane G4 is an advantage, but not required

• Practical mindset with interest in mechanical equipment

• Willingness to learn and contribute positively

• Comfortable with physical work and a high activity level

• Fluent in both Norwegian and English – oral and written

• Minimum 18 years old
