Beskrivelse av varen
Tilstand: Pent brukt - I god stand
Gitartype: Gitarutstyr
The Budda Superdrive 18 Series II is a boutique, 18-watt all-tube guitar amplifier known for its high-gain articulation and "creamy" British-voiced overdrive. Despite its low wattage rating, it is famously loud—comparable to many 50-watt amps—making it a favorite for club gigs and studio sessions.
Key Specifications
Power: 18 Watts, Class AB.
Tube Complement: 2 x EL84 power tubes, 3 x 12AX7 preamp tubes, and a 5U4 rectifier tube.
Channels: 2 foot-switchable channels (Rhythm and High Gain).
Speaker: Features a custom-designed 12" Budda Phat speaker (in combo versions).
Wiring: While the original Series I was hand-wired, Series II models use a hybrid construction with a hand-wired power section and a high-quality PCB preamp.
Series II Unique Features
The Series II introduced specific refinements over the original Series I:
Pull "Modern" Mid Function: A push-pull switch on the mid control that scoops the midrange for more aggressive, contemporary tones.
Pull "Brite" Rhythm Volume: Adds shimmery presence to the clean channel, useful for dark humbuckers.
Increased Midrange Control: Uses a 50k mid pot (up from 25k in Series I) to provide more overall midrange potential.
Shared EQ: Both channels share Treble, Mid, and Bass controls, though each has its own volume/gain controls (Rhythm and Drive).
Tonal Profile
The amplifier is described as a bridge between the chime of a Vox AC30 and the aggressive crunch of a Marshall Plexi. It is highly touch-sensitive, allowing players to clean up their tone simply by rolling back the guitar's volume
