The "Fist" inscription in the matrix (dead wax), combined with the computer-lettered back cover, confirms that this is an original 2nd pressing of Don't Forget The Struggle, Don't Forget The Streets from 1987.
This specific version is highly sought after by collectors as it is one of the original 1987 releases from the band's own label, Fist Records.
Quantity: There were approximately 2,000 copies of this second variation produced.
The "Computer" Back: The switch from "graffiti" to "computer" lettering happened because the band felt the original handwriting was too difficult to read.
While many original Fist pressings used standard black labels, the red labels on this disc are a known variant from this early era. These original 1987 Fist pressings are often valued much higher than the later reissues from Caroline Records or Revelation Records.
This record is a major piece of NYHC history, featuring classic tracks like "We're The Crew" and "As One," and was produced by Fink and the Warzone Posse
