Serial # puts it around 1978-1979.
Solid spruce top, rosewood back/sides.
Volute on backside of headstock.
Tuners are original and work nicely.
Truss rod access through soundhole.
Neck is super straight, low action and no need for neck reset.
No fret wear and no buzzing.
Beside the pickguard were some cracks in the top that were repaired some years ago and have always been stable. The finish there is not the best, but does not affect any tone.
Of course scratches, dings and dents exist.. its nearly a 50 year old guitar.
Nice quality workmanship on these Japanese Yairis.
Really nice tone. Super clear and balanced. Deep bass, punchy mids and thick trebles.
Martin D-28 clone, that I would say has better tone and also a truss rod, Martins did not have truss rods at that time.
Can send. No case, but have guitar box and tons of bubble wrap.
Recommend to try before buy if possible to hear how good it sounds.
