Product Manager

The maritime and offshore industries are evolving rapidly, driven by digitalization, cybersecurity requirements, and increasing demands for operational efficiency.

At Zenitel Maritime & Energy, we are looking for a Product Manager to take ownership of a defined product portfolio and help ensure our solutions remain relevant, competitive, and aligned with real market needs.

You will work at the intersection of technology, customer insight, and product strategy – translating market demands into clear product direction. As part of a dedicated Product Management team, you will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and development to connect strategy with execution and contribute to a strong and consistent product offering. 

Core Responsibilities

Portfolio Ownership and Development

• Take ownership of a defined product portfolio within the global maritime and offshore market

• Drive continuous development of the portfolio by identifying gaps, improvement areas, and products to phase out

• Develop business cases and define clear requirements for new product initiatives

Market and Product Insights

• Analyse market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to support decision-making

• Contribute to product positioning based on data, insight, and real-world use cases

• Continuously evaluate the portfolio against market developments to ensure relevance and competitiveness

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Development to ensure alignment between market needs and product direction

• Translate customer and market insight into clear, actionable product requirements

• Support internal stakeholders with product knowledge, ensuring consistent understanding across the organization

Desired Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in a relevant technical or commercial discipline

• Technical understanding combined with commercial awareness

• Experience with business analysis, market analysis, or data-driven decision-making is an advantage

• Understanding of product lifecycle management and how products evolve in a competitive market 

We are looking for you who is eager to learn and grow in the role, whether you are a recent graduate or have gained some years of experience. For candidates early in their career, training and support from experienced product managers will be provided.

You take ownership of your work and follow through on decisions and tasks. You are comfortable managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously, and you bring a structured and analytical approach to your work.

You are able to assess both commercial and technical aspects, communicate clearly, and collaborate effectively across functions.
