As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for two Commissioning Engineers - Electro for an exciting project at Mongstad.
 
This assignment will follow a 14/21 day rotation.
 
Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.

What will you be doing?

• Execute commissioning activities in accordance with project procedures and safety standards

• Ensure safe energization and functional testing of electrical installations

• Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to ensure integrated commissioning across systems

• Ensure systems are commissioned and handed over in line with project milestones and client expectations

• Participate in system walkdowns and ensure completion of outstanding work before handover

• Collaborate with construction, engineering, and operations teams to resolve commissioning-related issues

• Prepare and maintain commissioning documentation, including test records, punch lists, and handover packages

• Participate in planning and progress meetings, providing input on commissioning status and challenges

 
We think you should have:

• Proven experience in commissioning activities

• Experience in preparing commissioning procedures

• Certificate of apprenticeship, bachelor- or master degree

• Process knowledge

• Knowledge of control systems

• Good knowledge of ProCoSys (DCP) and Fusion

• Previous experience at Mongstad refinery site

• Good cooperative skills

• Fluency in Norwegian (written and verbal)
